Lead Engineering and Quality Support Services for overhaul of MBTA rail vehicles and locomotives. This program included conversion of cab cars to passenger vehicles. Conduct vehicle pre-shipment final Inspections and oversee acceptance testing. Develop and perform Quality Audits and Inspections during the overhauls. Provide design and engineering services for vehicle restoration programs. Develop locomotive and coach Quality Control System. Prepare Condition Assessments for Locomotive and Bi-level coach Overhauls. Perform Root Cause Analysis and structural evaluations for welded railcar structures and design repairs to replace corroded subfloor members and ply metal floors.
