Maryland Transportation Administration (MTA)
Held position as the deputy project manager providing support to Maryland MTA Commuter Rail Service (MARC) procurement of new MP36 Locomotives, Managed the update the MTA Alco RS3 freight Locomotive and oversaw upgrade and overhaul program.
Led the development of the MARC IIB fleet of coaches’ overhaul. Led contract developments and participated in the proposal evaluation structural design reviews. Performed the condition assessments of GP40 locomotives. Supported MARC with the trade in agreement of 19 GP40 locomotives. Supported MTA on AEM7 electric locomotive overhaul and performed condition Assessment of GP 39 locomotives. Supported the MTA in preparation for the mid-life overhaul of their light rail vehicles including the fleet condition assessment, developed the specification for the HVAC system and led proposal evaluations. Evaluated the upgrade of obsolete systems and components to current industry standard in my areas of technical expertise.
